The 10 Lepers

The class has really learned

this story well

I asked the class to help

retell the story verbally.....

each person who raised their hand

added

what they could remember

then anyone who wanted 

to help (we had more than 10 😉)

retell the story and be one

of the "lepers"

got bandages

to wrap themselves...

after everyone wrapped 

their "SORES"...

all the people with leprosy

had to go (live) stand together

away from their families....

I asked them to show me a sad face...

then one day Jesus (OTTO)came to town

the people shouted to Jesus

Savior, please heal us...

Jesus said,

" Go and show yourself to the priest"

Abidaan was the priest

As the people began walking they

realized they were HEALED

and began taking off their bandages

Jump for JOY!

They hurried to show themselves to the

priest so they could get back to

their families

except for one man..

he remembered to go back

and thank JESUS

Jesus asked...

were there not10 of you...

you go and be healed

your faith has made you well!

Then Mrs Koenen sang a song

class sang along

Today's helpers..

trying to think of ways to track less mud

into our classroom.

today we carried our boots outside and left

our shoes near our door while we 

played and changed back before we went inside....

it worked pretty well today

we enjoyed the beautiful weather

and the pineyard

Lyla made me breakfast....

we used the rakes to make a big

pile of leaves...

which helped us find some of

the food that got left on

the ground and then buried by leaves

JJ was librarian...

He was SO excited to chose this book!!
