This isn't s super common Jesus Time story

that we read every year SO I was curious 

how many friend could tell me what this

story is about by looking at the picture

A few friends guessed Jesus' crucifixion 

which was a good guess

BUT I said this picture does not show Jesus

Then Simon said

It is the story of 

The Good Samaritan!!

YES!! I asked him how

he knew this story and he told me

My dad told me last night

JJ led us with the invocation

I asked the class if they know what the word PARABLE 

means.....

we talked a few minutes about some of their ideas and then I 

explained a PARABLE is a story that Jesus tells to teach us lessons..

Today's Bible Story is a PARABLE

I also asked the class if the know what the word

neighbor means..

MOST said,

The person that lives next door

YES...

But in today's story Jesus explained our

neighbor is EVERYONE!!

Jesus wants us to LOVE our

neighbors as ourselves 

I told them the story of

The Good Samaritan...

And I said Jesus wants us to be

kind to everyone....People who we  don't know

People who may act or look different

EVERYONE--- Be kind to 

EVERYONE!
