MYSTERY BALL
How to Play:
I set out 12 bowls with numbers written on the front
Ask the children to close and cover their eyes
(no peeking)
Then I hide a bean bag(ball)
After it is hidden, I ask the children
to sit up and raise their
hands...
I call on children to make a guess
if it is incorrect--- I give clues....
For example, I will say the ball is under
a bowl with a number
SMALLER than 6...
Then the ball is under a bowl with a
number BIGGER than 1
This cgame encourages SO many skills
*listening
*cooperation
*turn taking
*number recognition
*understanding of
BIGGER/ SMALLER
They absolutely LOVE this!!!
Kennedy chose
Give me a kiss, goldfish!!
