Then we had an unexpected

fire drill.......

while on the playground the main building

smoke alarms went off....

as it turns out it was from

STEAM from the cooks making

lunch( NO smoke or fire) BUT enough steam from

making the noodles for Mac and Cheese

On the playground the alarm isn't very loud

However, we could hear the fire trucks

arrive (we did not see them--only hear them)

This kiddos did GREAT

with the unexpected

drill and listened to the directions!!

we opened 2 new centers yesterday

the children are enjoying

The children were interested in puppets

after I introduced Zippy during

Jesus Time, so I brought down (from our storage attic)

some puppets that they could play with

during center time

more block area fun....

with tubes, ramps, wooden balls

and the blocks...

lots of ways to create and problem solve
