Abidaan was attendance helper

He wanted to read me all the friends names

and then he counted how many friends 

came to school today

3 friends NOT here

Ellie volunteered to

be invocation leader

We went on a creation 

scavenger hunt in 

our classroom

Before school I hid pictures throughout the room

SO many friends walked right by

the SUN looking for pictures

for the creation hunt

after each child found a picture

they came and sat on their dot

then each child showed

us his/her picture

and then added it

to the correct day God made it

Nice Job everyone!!

Today our cross got used for the

cross in the front

Mrs Helmkamp led chapel

she talked about sin....

the dirty water is like sin

but the clean water with

the cross on it is like JESUS

Jesus died on the cross

to save each of us from sin

The dirty water became CLEAN!!

Just like US!!

Thank you Jesus for 

saving us from SIN!!

the kids enjoyed this book and we 

reminded each other that monsters

are just pretend

so this story is fiction

Before we could actually start

reading we had a fire drill

Mrs Helmkamp

just came into our room

and say the words fire drill

*** I talked to the class

first thing this morning to prepare them

for the fire drill and to 

let them know what we do in our classroom

when there is a fire drill

everyone was SO brave

the children remembered exactly what I told

them we would do...

stand up Quietly

stand on a stop sign

I count to make sure everyone is in line

then walk together outside

to our safe area

until Mrs Helmkamp told us

to go back in

we came back in and read our story

called on friends

The we practiced making

T's with the wooden lines

Then we sang the song
