our classroom today..

TRICKY MOUSE
I first show the children what houses
I put out... each house has a letter
on it. I only put out letters
made with LINES!
Next I asked the children to
cover their eyes
Then I hid Tricky Mouse
under one of the houses
The children uncover
their eyes...
then we say this rhyme
together.....
Tricky Mouse, Tricky Mouse
Where is your house??
Then the child's whose
turn it is says
Tricky Mouse, Tricky Mouse
are in the______ house
(whichever letter they want to guess)
**** children really enjoy rhymes!!
Rhyming helps develop language, cognitive
and memory skills
Emmy was our line leader
and got to chose our
good bye rhyme
Give me a hug, bug!
