we sang
Read Read Read the bible
God wants us to know
that it is a special book
and he loves us so!!
The bible is special because ALL the
stories in it are ALL TRUE!!
( non fiction)
We talked about what this years
theme verse
(from the bible)
is
Jesus is the
Truth
The Way
and the Life
( John 14:6)
we learned the song
(I will email the link to
the song so you can sing at home too)

Pink Lemonade
Camden asked if that was
strawberry
ππ
He sold me lemonade for

We did get a little muddy and totally my
fault for not asking children
to change into their boots
I forgot how much it rained
last night
Abidaan was our
librarian
Story he chose
Since today we talked about how
when we read from the bible
ALL the stories are true(non fiction)
I aske dth echildren
if they thought this story was
true (non fiction)
or pretend (Fiction)
We then talked about
why is was not true...
animals don't talk
animals don't go to school
trucks don't talk
But we also talked about how it is fun
to read pretend stories sometimes....
Audrey was our weather helper

We are learning how to show respect
when we pray
Fold our hands
bow our heads
and close our eyes..
Then we do ECHO PRAYER

snack....can be a tough job BUT a great
one to help learn names....
Dominic pointed and I helped
him with the names
Pouring our own drinks
teaches independence
and develops deeper sense of responsibility--
and the children tend to drink
better when he/she pours it
his/her self!!
snack
Emmy was our Teacher Assistant
We learned what the teacher assistant
will do BUT since we haven't started our
letters yet--there was nothing to point to yet
Next week
Teacher Assistant will
have something to point to and
call on friends to ask what letter it is
Part of building a school community/
school family is to talk about how we treat our families
and each other
2 important things we try to remember
(on our to treat our family/each other in class)
Be Kind(safe)
Show God's Love
Plus we also created a list of ideas
for what our class family name should be this year:
The list below
are the children's ideas SO far!!
we will VOTE once everyone has
a chance to share their idea
CENTER TIME
I had a few more friends to get
1st week of school name sample
Maisie was our superintendent
Eleanor was our
Yoga Instructor
TREE POSE!!
Levi was exercise leader
Toe Touches
Toe Touches is one of the
more difficult exercises because the
children have to stand up straight
reach one hand in the air
then cross over their bodies
to touch their toes!!!
Some are ready for crossing the mid line
and other just bent straight down
and touched their toes!
Great practice to find activities to
reinforce crossing
the mid line
PRAYER REQUESTS
we had a few extra minutes so
we practice all the
different YOGA POSES
Surfer

DOWNWARD DOG
OWL Posture
Kennedy was line leader and
