HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

OUR 1ST  FULL WEEK COMPLETED!!

IT WENT SO FAST!!

Maisie started her morning with the

magnetic dressing dolls

Dominic started his morning with

the coloring sheets

Emmy and JJ started with

play doh

Otto using the tangrams

Audrey started with 

coloring

and Dominic is playing with

the wooden puzzles

Calvin started with coloring

Eleanor signing in

Levi choosing his job

Then laughing when I took a

"bite" and he told me

it was dead fish😂😂

Morning Meeting

Abidaan was our

attendance helper

Zero friends NOT here

we watch a very short

Then sang a 

creation song.....

Because our "drill"

was at 8:45

we stayed inside

we did yoga

Surfer pose

Then I talked to the children about our drill

I NEVER USED THE WORD INTRUDER

I just told the children we were going to practice another drill

That the teachers were going to be with them the whole time

that we got to be ninja quiet(like we learned in chapel)

and that we got to go through a secret door,

down a secret hall(very short hall)

through another secret door and then up secret stairs.....

that we have to be so extra ninja quiet.

when we get upstairs we are going to sit on the ground

as quiet as can be SO no one can find us!!

They did amazing!!!!

2nd Steps

We looked at this card and talked about how we think this

little boy was feeling

The children raised their hands and

shared what they thought by looking

at Talik's face and what he is doing with his body!!

Some friends said they thought he was nervous,

sad, worried, etc....

We had just started talking about what we can do IF we feel this way

or how we can help SOMEONE else if

they feel nervous coming into school

 principal made the announcement..

everyone was SO quiet

SO QUIETLY!!

everyone was so quiet and sat

very still

GREAT JOB

I was SO proud of our class!!!

Then we came back down

for rest of 2nd Steps

I asked the children if they would like a turn

to "act out" this situation 

Maisie volunteered to be the 

friend that was nervous coming

to school

Mrs Franco was the mom

I was the teacher

Xander was the friend to help

our friend who is nervous

come into school

Xander said,

Welcome to school

My name is Xander

would you like to be my friend

Then Kennedy and Abidaan

had a turn

Then Levi and Audrey

acted out the situation...

WOW!!!  The children did such a great 

job!!

we are becoming a great class family who knows

how to help each other

Today was the 1st day we played 

in the pineyard

He was super excited for this

Looking at the cover, our class decided this story

would be pretend/fiction

my friends said because: 

 monsters don't go to school

Otto was our weather helper

Eleanor was our

prayer leader

Kennedy was snack manager

we brainstormed more L words

had a prayer request

today... I asked what it was

and she said

to be born soon......

Making creations.....

Quite a few friends began 

making creations

ramps and tunnels with

the wooden balls

Samuel remember something we 

made last year

with toilet paper rolls and paper...

he wanted the paper on the top to have a point

and cover the toilet paper roll..

then he decorated it

I got out a few hotwheels

for the children to use

with the ramps

Xander was the 

superintendent

Emmy was our

exercise leader

the children were so excited
