Jemma was invocation leader

We learned about how Mary Magdalene 

put oil on Jesus' head (and feet)

to honor him

Then we talked about ways we can honor Jesus

today.

Helping others, service projects,

being kind

This  somehow

jumped into a conversation about how 

Jesus is God(as one friend told us)

So then we talked about the invocation we said

everyday

God...the Father

God..the son (JESUS)

God...The Holy Spirit

3 parts but only 1 God

I showed them a cross that has 3 parts

but when you put it

together it is only 1

cross

God has 3 parts but only

1 God!!

Then because it was raining... we crawled around the classroom and

found a cozy place to listen to a story

some under tables

or cozy in a chair

I read part of this story

however, everyone wanted to see the

pictures so as I walked around the room reading..

many crawled around after me

😂😂😂😂

So I decided to save this story for

story time and switch gears.....

DANCE PARTY!!!

and we ended with yoga

oh and we also learned some information about 

humming birds

They are attracted to red or yellow

(bright colors)

they can fly 60 MPH

they can come back to the same place year after year

We finished this sweet story

another wonderful gift from ( a family) from the

book fair

Cameron was weather helper

Nora was prayer leader

Nathaniel was snack manger

Hazel was teacher assistant

We have thought of 

LOTS and LOTS of

S words

It has been 1 week

so we planted our pepper seeds..

Now to see which side grows

A few friends got to help finish

off our service project we started yesterday

in honor of week of the young child (next week)

We are coloring pictures for

care packages for a mission group from

Zion to bring with them for the children 

in Guatemala

The cash register became very popular today

So we started a sign up lists and friends took turns

Lots of friends signing up......

Lots of names on our sign up lists

unfortunately we ran out of time

but all the friends who didn't get a turn today

will be here tomorrow
