since Fridays we have such few people

we get 2 jobs and today we had even fewer friends SO some friends did

3 jobs today!

Jemma was our Attendance Helper

6 friends AT school

Aiden was our invocation leader

Naming Feelings

We talked about how it is important to learn 

how you are feeling and be able to

tell others..... we played a game to help us

We rolled a die and then we looked at what the it said: Happy, Sad,

Silly, Mad, Scared, Silly, etc....

Whatever each child rolled

He/She told us what it said

made the Face of what it said

and then told us what makes them feel that way

Next we went to Mrs Stanglein's classroom

to practice our songs for tomorrow

Then we opened the doors and let the

children play between the rooms

They LOVE this!!!

STORY TIME

Jemma was weather helper

Hazel was prayer leader

Mila, snack manager

Nora, our teacher assistant

letters that are too high

I love when the children help and care

for each other

MAT MAN

we have a few friends who have not seen Mat Man yet

They all enjoy this song

and putting Mat Man together

This is great for teaching body awareness,

listening,

sequencing and encourage drawing skills

A few friends still need to draw

their self portraits (Mat Man)

It is always SO great to see how much more detail

the children add after

listening to the Mat Man song and putting

him together

CENTER TIME

Hazel spent center time

creating. Lots of cutting and glue!

It was very wet so it is drying and can go home next week!

Mila also spent center time being

creative and she was very proud of her

creation!!!

Aiden was the Superintendent

Nora was Yoga Instructor

Teddy was exercise leader

He chose sit ups

which made me think about

this See Saw game

working with a partner is FUN

but also takes cooperation

They LOVED this!!!

Instruments are so fun. There is a great

video on YouTube that teaches children

to play instruments to a beat!!!
