For Jesus Time
we talk about how important it is
to HELP others
and do SERVICE PROJECTS.
Jesus spent His time serving
and caring for others
and He wants us to do the same!!
In honor of
The Week of the Young Child
(which begins next week)
we are doing a service project through
Children's Hope Chest
(http://www.hopechest.org/)
Many members of our church sponsor
children through this organization. A few member of our
church will be traveling to Guatemala
for a mission trip next week. So our
Early Childhood Program would like
to send them with Care Packages.
BTW-------- Guatemala sounds like Guacamole
to preschoolers who have never heard the word
Guatemala...... so we laughed about that this morning
To make the care package look
special we are decorating cards
(coloring sheets with a bible verse in Spanish)
as well as color sheets with
God Loves You Forever written in
Spanish
And a few friends decorating
wooden gift tags
YARD WORK:
These kiddos are hard workers....
