I think everyone was SO happy to
be back!!!!
Morning Work:
A few new games and
activities
This one is great for counting,
number recognition, one to one correspondence and
fine motor skills
Spinning Jacks
This activity develops fine
motor skills and perseverance

Cameron and Colton both chose to
spin the Jacks first
Lots of patience and perseverance
It took many tries for some to
get the Jack to spin!!!
I was really proud of some who wanted
to give up but kept
trying and GOT IT!!!
using tongs is a great way to develop
fine motor skills
Cameron said, " When I was at the Dollar
Tree, I saw these things there........"
YEP, that is exactly where I got all the Fairy Garden Items!!!

Right before Spring Break a branch from
one of our tress got torn off๐ข๐ข
I didn't want to see it just die(it had so many blooms starting) SO i brought it in
and put it in water.
When I came to school yesterday to work,
I was SO surprised to see
how it has GROWN!!!!!!!
ADVICE NEEDED:
any ideas on how to replant?? Is it even possible?
The children were all so excited about
the "tree" growing in our classroom!!
This started a BIG discussion on what else
they want to plant (peppers, cucumbers, strawberries, to name a few)
and see if we can get it to grow.
I told them another kind of scientist is
person who studies plants.
It is called a Botanist!
I think we talked for over 10 mins of all the things
they want to do. They were all so excited!!!
