SECOND STEPS : We discussed a lot on THANKFULNESS

YOGA:  TREE POSE

JESUS TIME: Zippy came to visit us today

Zippy was very angry because his mom woke him up early for 

school and instead of getting ready he PLAYED! Then when he was time to go 

he wasn't ready and his mom was upset with him!

I discussed this with the children and asked them if any of them 

have every just played instead of doing what their moms ask them to do

All the children were saying YES this has happened to them before

We then talked about COMMANDMENT number 4

Honor your mom and dad... we talked  about what this means

and how God wants to listen to our moms and dads as well as people of authority....

like the president, coaches and teachers

God loves us no matter what, even when we don't listen to our parents

but HE does want us to try to be good listeners

OUTSIDE... So WINDY! But the children had so much fun running

around in the wind and they also enjoy the pumpkins

We told the children we had a THANKSGIVING SURPRISE for them

We watched(listened to the story) Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving

And had a "THANKSGIVING FEAST" like Charlie Brown made for his friends

Popcorn, pretzels and jellybeans (and an oreo cookie thrown in)

SO FUN!!!

Claire was the teacher assistant and pointed to the letters

Then they children had more M words to add to our chart

Then we practiced making M's on the smart board

Tristan and Teagan are practicing for their BUG ZOO presentation

because they were not here last week

Luke's train creation.... he really wants me to remember to bring more train

pieces so he can make this connect!!! Now for me to just remember!!!
