MORNING WORK

I set out new play invitation to reinforce

counting a number recognition

This play invitation the children can look at the number

find the wooden number to match and then put that 

many body parts on the caterpillar

This play invitation is a game to be played with 2 people

One child rolls the die and whatever number the get

they put that many pumpkins in the correct spot

This play invitation is another counting and number

recognition game.... look at each tree and what number is next to it

then put that many leaves or acorns in the tree

A matching game... match the pumpkin with corresponding pumpkin

 A play invitation that reinforces fine motor skills

Fall Tree Observation

We checked out pictures on our smart board of a FALL TREE

we talked about how the leaves are different than the summer tree

we also pointed out the parts of the tree

roots, truck, branches and leaves

Then I asked the children to pick out 2 crayons they wanted to use

to draw their own FALL TREE

They kiddos did such a great "observing"
