to their corresponding number

Nora asked for help cutting out a butterfly and Ella offered to help

We talk about how we can be kind to our friends all the time!!

This is a great example of kindness!!

Ella adding her name to our kindness chart
Luke was kind and help a friend carry her chair over for chapel today!

CHAPEL

Pastor Rouland and Gary the puppet (AKA Mrs Rouland, another preschool teacher)

led chapel today
The message was on self-control

Thank you for your offerings!
At the beginning of each month we recognize BAPTISMAL BIRTHDAYS
Luke was BAPTIZED in NOV!
everyone will be recognized at the beginning of their baptism month
Nora got to add her name to the kindness cahrt

OUTSIDE

Carly found a LIVE BUG!!

Story Time

Charlie was our librarian today
Luke was the weather helper
Claire was our prayer leader

Ella was the snack manager
SNACK
We decided to enjoy this beautiful weather and eat outside!!

And then we played outside for a few minutes after we ate
Charlie found these 2 sticks that look like letters or numbers

as Luke pointed out... he said if you turn it it looks like a 7

And this one looks like a Z

Brody was sit by the teacher SO he go to be the teacher assistant
and point to each letter.
I think the children really enjoy
getting to pretend to be the teacher and call on each other

Then we added more W words..... the children are coming up with LOTS of W words

NOW to practice making a W.... we talked about how lines help us make
letters AND we always

start our letters at the top

one BIG line down

diagonal line back up

another diagonal line back down

then a straight BIG line back up

LOTS OF STEPS
but the children did a great job

none of the bugs could escape

Charlie made a sign up sheet
for the ticket booth
I love how he added lines for friends to sign up on

Creations
lots of creating happening in the
art center

Charlie wrote out each letter for our banner

WELCOME TO OUR BUG ZOO

friends playing there would just close the curtains as part of their
