Morning Work
lots of new play invitation
so many new activities to choose from

How many apples do you want to put in the tree
Charlie playing a race to fill your side of the egg carton


Look at the number and match it with the wooden numbers and then

add that many body parts to the caterpillar
Ella enjoys coloring... making a picture for her mom
A leaf counting game

Wyatt and I then played the race game together

it was a great way to reinforce turn taking

Next we did Second Steps where we talked A lot about KINDNESS

I forgot to take a picture of the chart we made(OOPS) The children all 

came up with great ways to be kind to one another

Wyatt brought a book from home and I asked if I would read it

Brody also brought a book(we ran out of time to read it, but he wanted everyone to have a chance to see it, so we put it in the book area for the others to look at during center time..... so nice of you Brody,.... thanks for sharing)

We spent a few minutes making plans for how we are
 going to invite our families to visit our zoo


So here's a clue.......... we are going to move the "ZOO" into the foyer

and then one family at a time can "view" the zoo though the window

more specific details coming soon

Everyone wanted a turn with the cash register



Working on our invitation... each child is going to personalize the 

invitation.... they are turning out SO great!!! I am so proud of all their hard work today

We ran out of time earlier in the day SO we did Hand Writing Without Tears

at the end of our day today

Yoga also got pushed back to the end of our day
( we are really working hard on plans for
families to visit our zoo)

Mrs Haun brought us a surprise.... a hornet?? It is huge! This picture really

doesn't even show how big it really is!!!  She found it(dead) outside on her porch!
We passed it around so that each child could examine it
