Putting our Alleluia's in the box
for the season of LENT

we learned that only 2 times
during the church season

Ash Wednesday and Good Friday

Pastor Rouland taught us about the ashes

The children could choose to say if they
wanted the ashes on their hands, forehead
or no thank you

The children did great!!!!

a few observed others getting the ashes

After observing and trying several times...
Teegan decided to get the ashes on his
hand...way to go!

By the time we ate snack... about 20 mins
later than normal....
everyone was starving!

One friend spilled his milk
and SO many friends jumped up
to help...

So many friends wanted to share
P words.....

We added about 15 or more words today...
each time I thought we done... someone else
had another word......
they absolutely love sharing
the letter words!

When I look at the clock after
Hand writing without tears time...
it was 11 already!!
WOW....  dressing to play in snow,
chapel at a later time, starving kids at snack(they wanted to
keep eating and eating)  ......
totally got us off schedule

So we only had 15 mins to play...
and a few kiddos got to do the
mailbox survey......

These kiddos got to go to
all the teachers in this building and ask
them which mailbox their mailbox
looks the most like!

So fun to carry clipboards...
plus these helps build social skills,
counting, how to use tally marks
and so much more

Because we had chapel we didn't
do our traditional Jesus Time

So I asked Dominic to do his job,
invocation Leader before prayer

He did a very nice job
