Jesus Time

We have continued to learn
about Jesus and his amazing
miracles

In today's story, Jesus had crowd of people
listening to him preach and the crowded got
hungry. Only one little boys had food,
5 loaves of bread and 2 fish....
But Jesus gave thanks to God
for the food and then
there was enough to feed
everyone

I showed a very short video retelling the
story so the kids could get a little
idea of how many people
5,000

Thank you for bringing the snow gear!!!
The children LOVE playing in
the snow!

And the children are gaining more independence
putting on this gear on themselves
(or with a little help from us)

The sidewalk was a little icy still

which then became an ice rink

Charlie was very interested with some
ice he found

Sabrina being a helper
using her boots to break up the ice

Ice Skating!!!

These 2 spent a long time
ice skating

Then a group of kids started using the stools
to help break up the ice

Brody adding his name to the
kindness chart

Our class got mail from a friend of mine in Texas

We looked at pictures of mail trucks
before we started painting

I brought the truck over to show
the kids how we could get in and out of it

Center Time..

Our mail truck is really coming along

The children figuring out different
ways to put the glue on the wheel
and then getting it to
stick to the truck

They discovered putting the glue directly on the box
worked best for them(mostly because the
wheels were  still al little wet

Brody creating and adding a door handle

Charlie decided the truck
needed "head lamps"

And Brody wanted to add this list
so the drivers know where to go

Adding the headlights was a little
tricky but Trente realized if you held
it for a few minutes it would stick

Sabrina was excited to get her train
tracks to connect and said she was going
to make a roller coaster next

Travis was excited to show
me his art work

Evie also was excited to show me her
train tracks

Brody wanted to do push ups today
I asked him how many and he said
2 - 5...
well that many be a little too many

but then he changed it to 6

And Brody was getting super fancy with his push-ups
one handed and all!

ALL the girls today had on purple today and at the last
minute we decided to take a picture...
Trente was our photographer!
