Sorting and putting the mail into a real
mailbox is a lot of fun!

Today we got to put each students
fingerprint on the planter

Eddie was proud of his creation

A friend from church dad used
to work for the postal service.
She is letting the kiddos check out
some of the actual
clothing and hats...

JESUS TIME:
We are going to learn about a few
of the many miracles Jesus
performed

Today we learned about a man
named Jarius whose daughter
was very ill

SO BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE
Sunshine feels so good and the children
really enjoyed the fresh air!

When we came inside we heard a story
about the
Jolly Postman

Travis loves being the prayer leader

Hank was our snack manager

Next we got to investigate the clothing up
close and try it on(if they wanted to)

We passed one of the hats
around for a few kiddos
who didn't want to ty on the clothes

We learned Fed Ex can mail
all sorts of things
even a PANDA BEAR

Definitely has to be a
BIG plane for that

After our guest finished
we took a walk through the building
to find the school mailboxes

We learned the mailboxes above
are used teacher to teacher
and you don't even need to put
a stamp on it
Each teacher has his/her
own mailbox and you can just put it
right in to whoever you want to write to

This kind of mailbox you DO need a stamp
We learned that this is the mailbox we will
use when we write to Lola

The children were SO excited to spot the
post office!
And we also saw many mail trucks!!!

Crazy that on Feb 2 we are walking outside
without coats and it feels
wonderful!!

Sit ups can be SO challenging
but look at how hard everyone is working!

most were very curious about WHAT kinds of things
can be mailed...
We learned all kinds of things can be mailed
by Fed Ex(even animals)

And we also learned Fed Ex does NOT sell
stamps... but they have special stickers they use .
The sticker will have the address of the sender and the
person it is going to on it
