Morning Work

Hank was SO proud of himself

he followed the picture and
built the robot!

Way to go Hank!!!

Dominic was super proud of his work too!!!

And Sabrina was also proud of her work!

Te children love the
Trio building set

Monroe asked me how many kids I had
and then drew a picture of my
whole family💜💜💜💜

Evie really worked hard
on ALL her hearts...
(you will see more in other
photos)

Brainstorming more questions
for our field trip

Next we did Jesus Time with Mrs Stanglein

A few of her friends led
invocation

Then we talked about sin....
the children came up with ideas of
what might be a sin.....

Then Mrs Stanglein drew a cross
drew a cross through all the
sins
She told us Jesus died for us and because
of Jesus our sins are
washed away.....
And she washed away all the sins
written on her plate

We then talked to the children about
Lent and Ash Weds.
We let the children feel
a mix (made from soap)
to give them an idea of what the
ashes will feel like tomorrow

Some wanted to touch it
Others did NOT..
either was OK...
It can be a little scary
getting Ashes tomorrow
so we are just trying to prepare the children

Singing our song for the concert

For recess we played between the 2 classroom

The children really enjoy this tie!!

Teegan created the entire time!!

Lots of HEARTS......

Adorable!!

Samuel was very proud
of his heart family....
Dad(the biggest)
Mom(the red one)
kid(orange)
baby(the smallest white one)

It is a little hard to see but
Mrs Stanglein gave us some
seeds and one friend
plantedit.
It is Wheatgrass and super
easy growing (or at least it
is in her room... fingers crossed we
can get it to grow for us)

Samuel wanted to measure his heart family

WE GOT MAIL!!!!

YAY!!
We were so busy we did not get to open it
today...but I cant wait to so the class
tomorrow!!!!

Thank you Roselee for
bringing Fruit today!!!!

Roselee was our exercise leader today!
We did our yoga a little later today

She asked us to do the
Tree Pose

and downward dog...

We were a little late doing yoga and SO
many friends asked when we were going to do it!!
Im excited they are enjoying it so much

Samuel fell doing one of the yoga poses...

And the class came together to comfort him!
So sweet!💕💕💕

I showed the children a picture of
our survey...
we asked many teachers
which mailbox looks the
most like theirs...

Then I showed the children how to do
Tally Marks.....

I divided the children into 3 small groups

1 group got to stay on blue carpet
and build blocks and trains

One group got to paint

And the other group got to
do the survey

We spent about 7 mins in each
group
so everyone got to do each station

The children LOVED
asking teachers the survey
question!!!

We visited the other side of our building
and surveyed the ELP teachers

Behind this clipboard...
Charlie
He moved just as I took the picture!

The next group happened to see Mrs Haun in the hallway
and wanted to ask her our
survey question

Our last group....

We will have to do this more often

So many things to learn and experience....

And the children loved doing the survey

Many wanted to ask more people.......

But time did not allow for a trip
up to the main building today.......

a few shots of the other groups
LOTS OF GREAT EXPERIENCES
happened today during small groups.......

For example:
some of the children experience new centers

not all the children choose to paint or play blocks
so the small group work
fostered trying new things today

There is a very particular way
to put the bricks away,,,

when the whole group tries to help
it doesn't usually end up
with all the block fitting...
So we thought of the idea that
2 friends each day can
place the bricks back into
the box so they all fit!!
Roselee and Dominic went first today

Roselee chose sit ups
for exercise time
