some time in the
writing center

Teegan was in Colorado last week and brought
pictures today to show his friends his
vacation

After Teegan shared his pictures
LOTS of friends wanted to share stories.....

I decided to add a few minutes of yoga to our day
I made a chart with 5 different
poses...we went through each one today

Then starting tomorrow our exercise leader
will also pick our yoga pose

Ryan was our invocation leader

Jesus Time

We are learning about the Good Samaritan
I told the children that sometime when Jesus
would preach to the people about what God wants us
to do...he may tell a PARABLE...
Young children LOVE learning new BIG words!

I explain that are parable is a story that teaches
a lesson...

In today's parable, Jesus wants us to help
others... to take are of our neighbors...
I explained that neighbor doesn't
just mean the person next door.
It means everyone around us...
even people we may not know.
Like if you are at a store and someone drops something..
you can help them pick something up
OR help hold a door for someone

The big kids are doing JUMP ROPE for Heart
and our class was so interested...
So Mrs Stanglein open the gym door(right by the
commons)
and let our classes watch for a few minutes

A few were more interested in just running......

After a few minutes we had the
kiddos come back to the commons

LOTS OF RUNNING

Next we practiced for our
concert.
Mrs Stanglein and our class
will ring handbells together
and then each one of our classes will
sing a song

SNACK TIME

We sang our song for
the Grandparents day
concert

Then the letter B
SO SO many words that
start with B!!!
Great job!!

Center Time

These 2 boys had so much fun with
the bricks today
They played the entire center time here!

Samuel is working a a new construction
a race car today!

We also our working on snowflakes for
our bulletin board

Little bit closer so you can read ALL
the B words they came up
with!!

Monroe and Dominic told me they
built a chicken coop!

Samuel chose Sit Ups today

But only asked us to do 1!

Right now we are still storing the bricks in this
cardboard box...
The kids quickly discovered you have to put them in
just "right" to get them all to fit
back in.....
Dominic worked VERY hard at
stacking the bricks......
once he got it started many friends joined in....
