we have chapel so we just reviewed and 

I told the children that Jesus wants us to know

that HE is with us wherever we go

2nd Steps

We looked at this picture of Kenny and talked about

 how we thought he was feeling in the first picture

Friends said

Angry

sad

frustrated

then I  read the story..

Kenny was playing with his favorite toy

and another friend came over and took it out of 

his hands....

I then said how do you think he was feeling..

most of the class thought 

angry or mad

BUT then immediately had ideas on

how to solve the problem

Like telling the other child

they need to ask before taking a toy or

telling the other child they could have a turn when they were done

we looked at the 2nd picture and talk about

ways to calm ourselves when we are angry

We then talked about how we should always

show God's LOVE even when 

other children may not be nice to us... we should still show God's love to others

The most important part:

 Jesus wanted the disciples

to tell others

That HE died and rose for each of us

and that He will always be with us

BUT.... I didn't look at the helper chart before reading 

the book Harrison chose

and when I went to check to see who was weather helper.....

and I saw Millie was actually Librarian

SO

Millie then chose a book and we just got a bonus book!!

I told the class we all make mistakes... so no problem

Painted Lady butterfly stay in their

chrysalis' for about 7-10 days for a total of

17-24 days for full transformation

we are on day 13 (and about 6 or 7

days in our chrysalis')

We then did estimation jar and I am

not sure how I missed taking pictures of that...

It was 8! And we had lots of close estimators

with one guessing exactly 8!!

He was so proud of himself!
