Easter Story

From Palm Sunday TO Resurrection

I could say one little part 

of the story and

so many could join in to say 

what happened next

This is the story I read today

Today's helpers

as we were getting ready to

go outside

A bird came to our feeder

The class LOVES this

I am going to do a little research

so we can stay identifying

what kind of birds they are 

OUTSIDE TIME

LOTS of areas are muddy..

we didn't wear our boots because we were suppose to have

a special performace

from MR TAPPS

a tap dancing magician,

and our boots often bring a lots of mud

BUT there was a scheduling mix up

and now he is coming tomorrow

everyone did a pretty good

job of staying out of the mud with

just our tennis shoes on

we spotted a Mourning Dove and I was wondering why

the bird was staying when there were many

children around and it wasn't quiet....

then we noticed...

A NEST with the momma and

babies....

EVERYONE was SO 

excited.....

Levi was Librarian

This bird had a reddish

front and a brown back

Anyone know what it is??

Since our magician is coming tomorrow

Mrs Helmkamp came to read

to us today(she was suppose to read

tomorrow .. so luckily we are able to

just switch speial activities)

Then we went back over to the

brown carpet...

Since we have learned all

the letters we played a game..

a collaborative game

I called 2-3 friends over and whispered a letter

and then they had to work together

and use their bodies to form the letter

She chose from one of

it was called "resting"

and take deep breathes to the count of 10

Then Abikriti's mom came to read for her

birthday..

It was a VERY cool book

if you shine a light on the

pages ... something special

pops up.. it was really cool

then we sang
