All week the children have

been cutting out their Jesus papers

so they could have it for

our Jesus Time today

As I read the story, I asked the children 

how they thought the disciples felt..

Like when Jesus spent 40 days after he rose

with the disciples... (happy)

the class made happy faces

When Jesus said he had to leave

(sad)

they made sad faces

When Jesus actually started to rise up to heaven...

(surprised)

I captured some great

SURPRISED faces!!

then we got to use our own

Jesus and had Him rise up

to heaven...

everyone got to bring their Jesus home

Today's helpers

OUTSIDE

We went to the Pineyard

so we could check on our beautiful flowers...

we used the rain water that collected

 in the wheelbarrow

to water the flowers

LOTS of helpers watering..

Plus, the children had fun because a lot

of the pots and pans had collected water

and they enjoyed mixing and pouring and

dumping

I think they would have stayed out longer

but it was getting late
