HAPPY THURSDAY
TODAY WAS A 1ST DAY FOR SOME
OF OUR FRIENDS......
Yesterday we learned a little
about jobs
So I was teaching the children that after
they put their snack/water/folder in their cubby, sign in, wash hands
THEY THEN come pick a JOB!!
Feels like a lot of steps BUT

After snack we sat on the carpet and talked about
FAMILIES.
What are some ways we treat our family at home
USE KIND WORDS
LISTEN TO EACH OTHER
LISTEN TO EACH OTHER
HELP EACH OTHER
I told the children we are a family at school too!!
And that we could think of a class name
and that we should treat our school family like our family at home
I gave a couple examples--- last year we were class STITCHY
and the year before we were the ZION LIONS
SO LOTS and LOTS gave types of animals as
a class family name suggestion.......

Harrison and Simon💙💙
Many friends were interested in art
today... and they wanted to use our special
shelf filled with loose parts
to make creations.
To use our loose parts for art
children get a tray and bring it to one of the teachers and we fill
their tray with the loose parts they choose
ART-- so fun to create with LOOSE PARTS
( loose parts are random items--- small trinkets, glittery
items, sequins, buttons, etc)
