Jesus Time
We began talking about Creation today. We read the story from the Bible and learned that on the first day God created the heaven and the earth. On the second day He created the sky and the waters. On the third day He created land and trees and flowers. On the fourth day He created the sun and the moon and the stars. On the fifth day He created animals lie fish and birds. And on the sixth day He created animals to live on the land. God loved what He had created and it was very good! God also created people, Adam and Eve on the sixth day. On the seventh day, God rested from His work.

Painting With Cars
This was a popular activity yesterday and today. The children loved painting with cars! We used the three primary colors: red, yellow and blue. Sometimes the paint mixed when the cars drove on the paper. It was fun to talk about the new colors we were seeing. We will continue talking and assessing color mixing this week.
After painting with the cars they needed to go to the carwash ! I had several great helpers! |
Exploring God's Beautiful Creation
What a beautiful day to spend time outside enjoying God's amazing creation! Ask your child what ho or she explored on or naturalistic playground. Did he or she explore in the water, dig in the dirt, go down the slide, play with a friend, go through the bamboo, see the flowers?
Holly climbed the hill and waved hello!
Exploring the water area.
We go outside with Mrs. Cooper's classroom so your child may talk about some friends they play with outside who are not in our classroom.
Harrison and Beckett are digging in the dirt.
Our Classroom Cross
Every year the each preschool class gets a wooden cross to decorate. We bring the cross with us to chapel. This year we decorated our cross with blue paint and square mosaic tiles. I think the kids did a wonderful job! This week, chapel will be on Thursday in The Commons.
Center Time Fun!
I love when children choose to read a book or look at the Bible during Center Time. Both happened today!
Look at the amazing house Landon made! |
We got the trains and train tracks out today. |
