YAY!! We got to play outside!!
I was worried that it would be raining all day
but it wasn't too bad, just windy!!
Ellie loves the collender
she shifts the wood chips/dirt
to just have a bowl of dirt..
everyone loves just to have DIRT
with no wood chips mixed in..

SPECIAL visitor
Ms Steinbacher brought us some
Ashes to show us what it will look like
tomorrow

she explained that the ashes will NOT
burn us and even let us touch
the bottom of the bowl to feel
that it isn't hot
she showed us what the cross will look
like.. we can have it on our hands
or forehead
Otto was librarian
He chose the book

we had so much fun reading it...
I started reading the description of the animals
and letting the children guess what animal I was describing
JJ was weather helper

Bringing the trash can over to the sensory table

we got ALL the sugar cubes
out.. next friends helped wipe it out
then we dried it

We looked in mirrors to determine
what color our eyes, hair,
skin tone
we have special skin tone colored pencils
it is fun to watch the kids look in the
mirror and decide what colors to use
I also asked the children to look at what
color their clothing is and to
make their person with same color clothes
Otto made his ghost buster
t-shirt(and his curly hair)💚
I found this box of animals that was
donated to our classroom last year
it is fun with trains and animals
JJ, Dominic and Xander
built this structure
It was clean up time and they
were so proud of it
and told them they could save it!!!

We were short on time to go around room
to say our thank you prayers out
loud.. we practice saying prayers in our
head often.... I let the children know that God can hear them
even when they don't say the words out loud...
I just think this is the sweetest picture of your

Ella was line leader and got

she wanted to do it with her eyes closed

but then did NOT want the
one she grabbed with her eyes closed
SO she looked the next time
and chose this one...
Which Abidaan liked because it is the
one he made up....
