Today we looked at this picture
and talked about how this boy Kenny was feeling..
ANGRY
what should we do when we are angry
LOTS of great ideas:
take a deep breath
cuddle with a blanket
go to your room and read a book
+++++++++++
we talked about what kinds of things makes us angry
most friedns said things that centered around
someone taking a toy they had or want
we also talked about things that are NOT OK
to do when we are angry
shout, hit, push...
Today's helpers
We brought our Alleluias
over to church to be
"buried" or put away for
Lent

BAPTISMAL REMEMBRANCE
Camden was baptized in March and got
a button to put on his
backpack for
baptism remembrance
Ellie was offering helper
Mrs Lohmann, former Zion
preschool teacher, led chapel today
She talked about sin
She had a list of some
things that are sins...
Sins can make our lives messy
BUT lucky for us
there is JESUS
(she covered the list of sins with a cross)
Jesus saves us from sin
and we remember him
during this Lenten season
Mr Debrick gave ashes to our class
Audrey was librarian
Lyla was weather helper
Emmy was prayer leader
Kennedy was snack manager
snack
Maisie was teacher assistant
we don't normally do Jesus Time on
chapel days
BUT I wanted to introduce
the LENTEN DEVOTIONS....
Harrison was invocation leader
Our devotion starts today and
counts towards EASTER and
Jesus' Resurrection
Below are 3 different devotionals that
are available in the back of our church..
Anyone is welcome to take one home to
do devotions at home during Lent..
Today we have Ash Weds Service
at 3:30 and then again at 7
In between those times is a Lenten
supper..
please join us--
I will send an email today too
Invocation Leader will help led devotion...
One of the above devotions forms
a cross as you count the days of Lent..
I told the children we have to figure out a way
to hang the cross BUT we don't have much wall
space...
Harrison told me that during snack he thought about it
and thinks we should use the ceiling...
I think that was a pretty clever idea and we might
have to see if that will work....
