Dress Up...

I warned this group that LOVES the dress up

clothes SO SO much that we would be changing the dramatic play 

(end of this week)

into something else... more to do with 

construction.... not sure what exactly they will think of

LOTS of vehicles...

JJ wanted to show me what he made with

the construction MAGNA BLOCKS

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT WORK:

I talked to the children about an important

job that helps the construction worker

the architect.... person who designs/draws the plan of what is

going to be built....

also there are engineers that help

make sure the structure will "stand"

Today we were architect..

we are going to design and 

then construct our own town

** there was a LOT of

excitement for this...

the children started throwing out

ALL kinds of ideas of what they

want to construct for our town.....****

working on our plans.....

And of course ALL 

towns need a name.....

to kind of keep us focused 

and so we don't have 22 different 

names.. I made a few suggestions of names:

maybe a town namae that reminds of

our school or class name.....
