Earlier this week we looked
at this card and decided what
Gloria needed and maybe how she was feeling...
so today when we looked at this card
many friend remembered from earlier
in the week that Gloria needed help
zipping her jacket
And they also remembered how
we thought she could solve her problem
BY asking for help
with a strong, clear and POLITE voice
then we played a game so we could
practice using a strong, clear and polite voice
Harrison had a bean bag
and Kennedy asked,
Could I PLEASE have the bean bag?
then Harrison passes it...
then Kennedy says THANK YOU
then Harrison says YOU'RE WELCOME!!
we continued around the whole circle
with everyone practicing
how to ask politely and to use manners
Everyone did a really great job

use to make a road
the children created roads from
our lines!!!
a few more number assessments
Lots of road construction...
More line art..
today we added another
layer to our line art......
introducing lines to the children
getting them familiar with big
and little lines
and that we can use lines to
create many things....
fun to see what the children
will create...
This all helps reforce the
letters that are made from
just lines!!

Quite a few children are really enjoying
the construction trucks, the monster trucks
and other kinds of vehicles....
So the last 2 days I have been
brainstorming with the children
if there is more they would like
to learn about
vehicles and who
drives what kind of trucks
or construction stuff...
Here are their ideas so far..
Emmy was line leader
