MORNING MEETING

1st day with our "class pet"
Little Puppy is the name that won..

During Morning Meeting whoever is
sitting to my right gets
to take care of Little Puppy
while I do Jesus Time..

Hold Little puppy gently and
support his head and caring for him

Lyla was attendance helper

1 friend NOT here
11 friends here

Ella volunteered to be
invocation leader

JESUS TIME
I began by showing the child this bible
with the purple smiley sticker

This is the same bible I read from BUT
one that the children can page through
and read if they want themselves
(the other one wa a gift for
one of my children and I didn't want any torn pages)
BUT this one with the stickers the children
may use whenever they would like

MORE ABOUT MOSES

We reviewed a little about the Moses story
from last week and then in this week's story Moses is ALL
grown up and trying to FREE GOD's People
from the mean pharaoh

Moses asked Pharaoh to free
the Israelites(who pharaoh had as slaves)
He would say OK but then not
really let the Israelites free

BUT then God sent PLAGUES...
trying to punish the pharaoh for
not really letting HIS people go

I read the story from the bible
(I didn't fully tell the children
all the details.. like turning the water into blood--- I just said God turned
 the water red and then
Pharaoh couldn't drink it
or about Killing the First Born Son..
I just said sad things happened to the people who followed
pharaoh)
We ended today's story with
Pharaoh FINALLY agreeing to let
the Israelites go..... BUT I asked the children
if they thought pharaoh would keep
his word this time.....
most said NO

I told them we were going to learn tomorrow.....

Today's helpers....

CENTER TIME

Since dramatic play is always the
MOST popular area.... I did a little rearranging to
give us more room

Lyla went to the sensory table

this new activity is FUN
Children can construct a parking tower
by stacking the garages
Each garage has a number on it and the
car matches the correct garage

JJ constructing with
magna blocks

Harrison and Camden
 playing together

Constructing with blocks

Harrison liked how TALL this tower
was... he started playing here...

Samuel proud of what he
constructed from blocks asked
me to take a picture

Jacob and Ella building with
blocks

JJ using the workbench

Simon wanting to dress up....

Harrison and JJ testing out the
bridge they made

making a phone call
I asked Jacob if it was a real phone who would he call
He said TOBY(his baby
brother---then he laughed and said when he is older)

I found a cute
construction dance party song

link if you want to do it at home

https://youtu.be/HQYMBPlPis4?si=XVMw1wfpa0ClJxza

A freeze dance song
