Jesus Time
we learned that Abraham and Sarah
LOVED GOD!
They did as GOD
asked and traveled to a new land
I used these wooden people
for Abraham and Sarah
and other little pieces to retell the story
We talked about some items that maybe
Abraham and Sarah packed
They had to carry EVERYTHING
they owned VERY far away
tent
maybe something soft to lay on
cloth for a blanket
maybe books
some food
Abraham followed GOD
and God made him some promises
God promised that all the land would
belong to him and his people
and that one day Abraham would have so
many descendents..as many
descendents as stars in the sky!
then we listened to
the LINE song.....
https://youtu.be/DQEVllmeWH4?si=lne9Be3d-IMMEVpV
THE CHILDREN love THIS
SONG!!!
Then we walked around our
classroom looking for
LINES
vertical
horizontal
diagonal
** then we went on a line hunt
outside
today's helpers
Aavya was one of
our door holders..
LINES:
horizontal...
the brick has vertical lines
going up and down
PLUS horizontal
PLUS lines to make up some
of these letters....
diagonal lines in the fence
