JESUS TIME:
God took care of Moses
and the Israelites when they were in
the desert
and we also read about the 10
commandments
today's helpers
Since it was still a little rainy
we went over to Mrs Cooper's room
for a few minutes and then
we got to play between the 2 rooms...
They LOVE to do this!
a few friends stayed right away in
Mrs Coopers classroom
then LOTS of friends came over
to our room....
then a few more friends went back over to
Mrs Cooper's
it is fun to walk back and
forth between the 2 rooms....
this became our center time
Since we have our party today
Xander was very proud of
his creation
Maisie was our
librarian
Calvin volunteered to be
our weather helper
Maisie volunteered to be our
prayer leader
Ella was snack manager
BUT instead of going to snack we had
new directions....
I was SO proud of how well
the new directions went....
when Ella called your name....
you put your water bottle away
got a pair of boots
carried the boots to the blue carpet
sat on your dot
put your boots on
then left your shoes on the dot
THEN lined up on a stop sign
to go to the pine yard!!!
WOW!!! Lots of steps but look how busy everyone
is following ALL
the steps
PINE YARD
was wet but really ALL the pine needles
absorbed the water
But all the buckets and pots
were full of water--- which was
FUN!!!
fun to dump, pour and mix...
PARTY TIME
HUGE thank you to the room parents and
all the parents who came to help!!
SNACK was first
then we sat on our dots
while Emmy's mom told us about
all the FUN stations
Then we divided into 4 groups and
got to try out each station....
BEAN BAG TOSS
PUFFY SLIME
SCAVENGER HUNT
Making a pumpkin
into a JACK-O-LANTERN
For the scavenger hunt
the children each got a clipboard
and got to explore the classroom looking for
GHOSTS- ---each GHOST was numbered and
the children got to mark it off their
scavenger hunt sheet!!
Example of how the ghost looked..
Mrs Koenen asked
WHAT TIME IS IT?
to get the children to find the ghost on the clock
HARRISON DECLARED:
IT IS GHOST TIME!!
😂😂 Love this answer
The class had so much fun
Dominic is looking up at the ceiling
because there is a ghost up there from the scavenger
hunt(which Dominic told me was his favorite part)
bean bag toss had numbers on it
to see if you could identify what number
you hit or trying to add them together...
when making the jack-o-lantern the children
were asked to give the jack-o-lantern
same color eyes as what they have...
hidden objects in the slime
Exercise Leader
Harrison chose PUSH UPS
Yoga Instructor
JJ chose SKI POSE
Emmy was line leader
and chose a new rhyme......
Time to Scat, Bobcat....

Wave goodbye and tip your hat
