Today for Jesus time we started
with my bucket of beautiful gems BUT
some of my beautiful GEMS got lost!!!
Then one of the children spotted one... and everyone
helped me find all my lost gems!!
everyone feels so much better when something that is LOST
gets found. This is like when we sin.... we may get lost
from Jesus BUT he never forgets us or forgets to find us
finding my LOST gems
Then we read the bible story
THE LOST SONS....
I first explained what the word
PARABLE means..
a story that has a spiritual lesson
Jesus like to tell parables
to teach us !!
Today's bible story is a parable
The son in todays story decided he wanted the money
his father would give him one day
NOW so he could go live his own life!!
He had a great time spending all the money
BUT then the money ran out and he had no
choice but to go work(pig farm) just so he could have a little food
Embarrassed and ashamed he decided he
would rather work for his father
than live with the pigs
His father saw him returning and
CELEBRATED his sons return!
Even though the son mad poor choices,
lost all his money and returned ashamed and hungry
his father forgave him
JUST like our HEAVENLY FATHER forgives
us when we lose our way(sin)--God always is there
He loves us and forgives us

1 little line and one

several friends working together
to make the letter they think it is
then Abidaan also came over to help
R is our letter this week
We thought of LOTS of R words
Center time
I did small group work
with today's friends...
practicing making the letter R
This sheet showed the children how
to make the letter R
Start at the top
make a big line down
then leapfrog back to top
then make a little curve
and make a diagonal little lines
We then practiced on
a chalkboard.....
the chalkboard has a smiley face at the top
to remind the children to start at the top
After making the R with
chalk, each child had a wet eraser
and went over the line
and could SEE another R left behind
Charleigh was our
superintendent
JAcob was our exercise leader
Toe Touches...
This is always a more challenging one....
Have to cross over our bodies to touch
the opposite toe THEN stand ALL the way back up and
touch the other toe...
opposite hand to toe each time
Prayer Requets
Good Bye Rhyme
