ALL OUR FRIENDS CAME TO SCHOOL TODAY

FRIDAYS WE HAVE 12 FRIENDS!

Charleigh volunteered to

be our invocation leader

We talked about the Jesus

time story and the children

recalled a lot of the information......

Then we ALL lined up on one said of the blue carpet...

And I said the other side of the carpet is GOD and HEAVEN

Zacchaeus sinned and so do we---everyday...

SIN keeps us from GOD AND HEAVEN

How can we get into heaven

(to the other side of the carpet)

It is way too far to jump..

some friends said a boat, swim...

But then Mrs Koenen and I made this

CROSS on the floor and I asked again how 

we can get to HEAVEN

Friends immediately began saying

Jesus

Jesus died on the cross to save us from sin!!

YES!!!

WE can ALL get to HEAVEN through

JESUS... We each took a turn

walking "with Jesus" across the cross..

into HEAVEN

Yes!! We can ALL look forward to seeing

each other in HEAVEN someday!!!

Then we each got a turn

writing a D on the smart board

We talked about how we ALWAYS

start our letters at the TOP

then we leapfrog back to the top

and make a BIG curve

that goes from top to the

bottom of the line

We had a few extra minutes and so

we played 

MYSTERY BEAN BAG

We have bowls with the numbers 1-12

written on the front

The children sit in front of the bowls and cover their eyes....

I hide a bean bag under one of the bowls

and then the children take turns guessing where

it is hidden....

After the first guess

I give them clues like...

The bean bag is under a bowl with a number smaller (than

whatever number they guessed)

Or larger than...

They LOVE IT!!
