HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!
New Morning work
Had to switch to plan B
for our back round for chapel today!!!
We painted the sky on Friday with
the original plan to use star
cookie cutters BUT since we didn't have school
yesterday I made stars when I got to
school and we cut them out and glues them on---
It turned out great!!!
SNOWFLAKE
TIC TAC TOE
Roll-Write-Count
Children Roll the Die
then write the number
and then count out that many
snowballs
Match the picture that is
the same------
CURVES!!
Lots of curves and cutting on the curve
Also this week is
sneak a peek
Fun to peek and see how
independent your
child is becoming!!!
After adding stars to
our backdrop, the
children asked to use the
modeling clay
Modeling clay is GREAT for
little fingers!!!
Because of chapel and the
surprise I had for
the children after snack
we had a longer morning work
time/center time....
I tested to see how well ice would freeze and
if I could make "hockey nets"from items
we already had in our room
The children really enjoyed it........
then some friends worked on drawing the
hockey rink on freezer paper
So we can make another hockey rink
Lincoln cutting out a
BLUES note
Lots of team work
I will laminate the
freezer paper and then the children can add
water to it and we will put it outside tomorrow

Epiphany

following the star that led them to
Jesus. God wants us to
always "follow the star"
that will led us to HIM!!!
Look at their hard work!!!

to crack--- I added water and we will see what it
is like tomorrow--- temps slightly
above freezing for tomorrow
BUT tonight will be cold and then Thursday night
VERY cold -----So
definitely by Friday it should freeze again!!
the children really enjoyed this
