Jesus Time

Zippy came...

They children LOVE ZIPPY

Zippy was excited because he

was planning a trip with his family

BUT he was nervous about

going fishing because he

had never been...

I reassured Zippy that his family

would be with him

and teach him how to FISH

And talking about fishing

reminded me of today's Bible Story

Jesus gathers his disciples...

12 disciples 

Jesus said, I will make you fishers of men......

I told the children we can also

be Jesus' disciples

By spread the word of God

I also showed the class this BIBLE---the one with the Jesus sticker.....

I bought this bible off Amazon (used). I have the exact same bible that I normally 

read from that belonged to my own children when they got baptized....  the class LOVES

to read from it during center time and play teacher with it---but it was getting well loved AKA-torn up

I, however, want the children to read from the bible SO I bought one that is OK if it gets well loved

(we did talk about it being a bible and treat it with care) I love to see the children reading from it. I

 showed them where on my shelf I will keep it and let them know the bible with the Jesus sticker is for

 them!

picked it up and took a few pictures with it....

MUD was found...

I had a feeling parts of our

playground would be muddy

SO I highly suggested changing into boots

if children don't have their own we have lots of extras....

I just let the children know that if they chose to not wear rain boots

they needed to stay out of the mud MOST wanted to wear boots!!

They really really enjoyed the mud

LOTS of MUD SOUP

was being made

Maisie also discovered water

which added to the FUN!

Foster snd Lincoln also spent a 

long time playing in the mud

Winston and Abidaan discovered they

could "write" in the frost

Librarian today

Next we will have to decide what else 

a Zamboni might need
