a special book full of
TRUE stories!

I then talked to the children about
how much GOD
loves each one of them!!

I said God loves you
more than anything
or
SO SO MUCH!!

This was the perfect story to read today
to go along with what we were
talking about!

Ask your child how
much God loves him/her

SNACK

Beginning of each week
(I will probably rotate Mon and Tuesdays)
we will do MYSTERY BAG

In our Mystery Bag
I have a few pictures
of items that all
start with the same letter

I hold up the picture
ask the children to put a "bubble
in their mouth"
we try not to say what the item is until everyone has seen the picture
then we whisper the picture to a friend

Then we say it all together

Today's pictures
were:
lamp
lion
lady bug
leaf

I then showed the children
a BIG line
and a
LITTLE line

and told them the letter were are talking about
is made from
1 BIG Line
and 1 LITTLE line....

Mason volunteered to make the
letter

It is the Letter L

we then tried to come up with more
words that start with that letter!

CENTER TIME:

Everyday new centers are opening
up or new parts to a center

CREATE with!!!!

We have little trays that the
children ask a teacher to help get
items from this shelf and they
can CREATE and

Tape they can do independently!

Legos are open today

Many were excited to build legos
at the table

Dramatic play or what most
of this class is calling this area

And trains!!

Many friends were excited to check out
the art supplies for
making creations!

Mason spent the majority of
center time creating!!!

INSTRUCTOR

she chose
DOWNWARD DOG

Mason volunteered to also
be our exercise leader
He Chose PUSH UPS!

PRAY REQUEST:

A lot of times, especially as we
are just beginning prayer
request, children we just tell me a story
or just say a statement!!

This is totally fine!
I am just so PROUD of them for
raising their hand to share!!

Another new thing!
At end of the day,
we will chose a
card as a way of saying
GOOD BYE

Each one of these
good bye sayings are rhymes!
Some I am sure you are even
familiar with!

Rhyming is SO important in preschool.
It helps young children learn
about language formation, sounds
and words! As well as, helps
the young child's brain develop and
 prepare for pre literacy!
