Morning Work

Mini Blocks

Play Doh

Loose Parts to make lines

Colored Popsicle sticks with

velcro... stick them together to create

We did
not have an attendance helper
SO I asked Bria and Charleigh
to do this job together

2 friends NOT at school

12 friends AT school

Mason led invocation

I showed the children both
bibles and told them that all bibles are
filled with TRUE stories!

We talked about creation

OUTSIDE

Addie accidentally hurt Carson

So we talked about how if
we hurt someone(even
by accident)

we need to make sure the other person
is OK and we need to say
I am Sorry BUT even more importantly
we need to ask
How Can I Make You Feel BETTER?

This help children begin
to learn empathy

Carson said
A HUG!!

A big group of FRIENDS
were hanging out in th e
tunnel.
I asked them what they were doing?
One friend said,
Watching TV? The other said,
Watch YouTube.
Then someone else said,
Let's play Mario Cart

Story Time

I asked the children if
they thought this would be a
TRUE story
or a pretend
picture by looking at the cover

A pig going to school
PRETEND/
FICTION

Bria was weather helper

She chose RAINBOW
which means it is a HAPPY
kind of day!

Charleigh volunteered to be
our Prayer Leader

Teddy was snack manager

SNACK

Lincoln was so excited
to be the teacher assistant
on hold my special
stick(as he called it)

Then we used
1 BIG line
and
1 LITTLE line
to make the
letter T

The children came up with
more T words today

Try helping your child come up
with T words.. they love to
raise their hands and
share!

CENTER TIME

During snack I was sitting by Winston
and Hazel and some how the conversation
we to... mixing colors
Winston said,
if you mix red and blue
you get purple!
YES!
I asked,
What happens when
you mix yellow and blue
He said , " I don't know!"
And Hazel said, "Green"

This discussion continued and I said,
"During center time we can mix colors and
find out what happens!"

Winston liked that idea

as well as many others

They had a great time
mix and painting!

Dramatic Play

Oliver really enjoyed
the John Deere
tractor and trucks

we did learn that if you mix
LOTS of colors together
you may just end up with
brown!

 more things from blocks were
being discovered!

Dramatic play
you may noticed I did a little moving around of
 the table and
brought down the baby stuff.
With the table in the middle it
cuts down on so much
OPEN space
With ALL the open space, I was finding the
children were just throwing
everything down and running
to fill up that space.
Today was SO much more productive
PLAY

YAY!!! Love to see them holding the
babies and "multi-tasking"
setting the table, eating, etc.... all while holding
the babies

Blocks became a very
popular area..
LOTS and LOTS of cause
and effect!

Dropping the balls into the tubes
at first making it more like ramps
and tunnels

Charleigh told me
she sang her
baby to sleep!
SO SWEET!

Then standing the tubes up
and filling them to the top
with the wooden balls
and lifting it up
to see what happens to

Hayden wanted to
do some spinning of the domes,
however it was clean up time. But
I let him have one turn before cleaning up!

Charleigh was our
superintendent

Addie was our exercise
leader

she chose
push ups

Winston was our
yoga instructor

He chose SKI POSE

Prayer Requests

Hazel was line leader
and got to chose
our
GOOD BYE RHYME

See you soon, Raccoon!
