Her mom read a fun book
How to Catch a Unicorn

Morning Work time

Roll a Gingerbread Man
roll the die..then whatever number you get
you look to see what you should add...
Like: eyes, nose, mouth etc..

Roll and Cover

Roll the die and cover the gingerbread man that has
the same number you rolled

Play doh

writing center has a dry erase board
with stencils

After we cleaned up
morning work
we came to the carpet for
Second Steps Time

I asked the children to show me their happy faces

Happy

Happy

Happy

Happy

Happy

Next I asked them to show me a SAD face

SAD

SAD

Then I asked them to show me a surprise face

SURPRISED

Then I showed them a card
with a picture of a boy

And asked the children to decided how
the boy on the picture was feeling

The emotion that we learned more about was
worried!
We talked about times that we have felt worried

Many children started by
saying, "when I was little....."
which I just think is SO sweet..because they
view themselves as all
grown up!

Charlie started our Jesus Time
by leading the invocation

I read a short book and I also
read a story from the bible

We are going to learn about Jesus' baptism

OUTSIDE TIME:

SO much fun playing in the snow!!!

So much to explore...

Mrs Larimore helped a few children
build a snowman

THANK YOU COLTON

Our new letter......

Orange
Octopus
Oval
all start with.....

Our new letter is O

So many friends raising their
hands to tell me words that start with
O

Now that it is Second Semester
we are going to start
building confidence and
encouraging more independence

In the sensory table we poured
water from a pitcher into cups

After we practice a few
weeks... we will start
pouring our own milk
and water at snack!

Grocery Store still a popular
area

Charlie wanted to build a house
for the animals

Such concentration.....

Sabrina signing her name so she can have
a turn at the sensory table

Many, many children wanted to
use the sensory table so it will
be available all week

Jace and Hank spend most of
center time together

Evie exploring the work bench

Lego Fun!

A group of boys working together
