We played a game today for Second Steps |
I gave everyone a card on it Each card has a picture of an emotion Each child looked at their card when it was their turn and made the face of the emotion on the card |
Then the rest of the class got to guess which emotion they had |
Everyone had such a great time with this game |
They enjoyed making the faces and the guessing part too |
Because the weather was so gloomy, foggy and seemed a little dark at outside time we choose to play in the gym |
We don't get many opportunities to play in the gym but today it happened to be open |
Lots of room to run and play Running on the gym floor is a little different than what most kids are used to..... so we had several falls |
And some decided to take a little rest |

we sang the Tap Tap song with the Big Curves which is great for reinforces following directions |
The many children were excited to share words that begin with the letter O |
The last few days we have been practicing with the pitchers and cups in the sensory table |
Today I did a step by step instructions Next week we will satrt pouring our own milk/water |
Evie was very excited to work on her (1/2) birthday art |
Trente built a very tall tower |
Brody was making sure his work was secure and enlisted the help of some friends |
I started working individually with the kids to teach graphing |
Colbie and Monroe spent a lot of time together today |
Jace choose arm circles for our exercise today |
