We headed outside early

Since the beginning of the year we have
been observing the trees...

Today we talked about how a tree
looks in the winter
Looked at pictures on the smart board
then headed outside with our
clipboards to do some
LIVE observations

Ground is a little cold

After checking out the
winter tree...
the children drew what they
observed
Then each child got their
picture in front of the tree he/she
observed

Outside time....
cold but oh so fun!!!

Today was the first day
we poured our own milk!!!

NO SPILLS!!! YAY!!!
However, one friend said,
"I don't like this milk"
then someone else took a drink and
said, " It does
taste funny!"
So I tasted it and it did taste funny...
so we dumped all the milk out
and drank from our water bottle
Weird because the milk wasn't expired
but I definitely didn't want to risk it!!

and cards

I moved the trains to the
blue carpet so we could
have room for the
Post Office

Evie worked hard on this boat.....
It took a little problem
solving to get her
mask to stay.....but she came up
with a good solution

The Post office and
writing center is right
next to each other and went together
nicely!!!
Kids from writing would write a note
and then the kids in the post office would put it in
their mailbags and deliver it!!

SO FUN!!!

Dominic wanted to write to a particular
friend so we found her name card
so he could learn how to spell her name
