Lots of fun with the magnetic dolls

Mrs Stanglein's Class came over
and we baked Gingerbread Cookies together

We followed a recipe chart

After we got the dough made

each child came over got to roll
the dough

the dough is very stiff

and can be very hard to roll out

Then we used gingerbread
cookie cutters

Then after the cookies baked

we got a spoonful of icing and
sprinkles and decorated
our cookies!!

A few kiddos weren't sure about whether
they would like gingerbread
flavor but most ate
them!!

Center Time

I put stencils in the art center the other
day and realized some were
using the stencils to glue onto their projects

So I showed the kids how to use the stencils
and then cut out from paper
what they drew.....

then they can glue whatever they cut out to
their creations........

Everyone was very interested in
 using the stencils

and today after we baked

we only had 3

Today was such a fun and busy day but
we ran short at prayer time

The children do a great job
of saying prayers in their heads

I love seeing the children's faces as they pray
in their heads

Lola is moving next week so today we had
a class gift for her..

Her family we be greatly missed
but we are very excited for her family and their new
opportunities

Last week, we took pictures of the children who were
here holding a letter
and then we spelled
We Will Miss You!!
The other children we took pictures of them
holding hearts and the few who were
not here I found photos from previous days...
I wanted everyone to be included

All the children were so interested
in seeing this and wanting to see it closer
But.. we were out of time........
SO I took a close up and told all the kids
to ask their parents to show the
picture to them from the  blog
