Lots of new morning work

excited to see the butterflies

2 have emerged..

One of the ones that emerged is from the

chrysalis that never attached to the lid

proper and was on the bottom and I wasn't even sure it would emerge

BUT

you can see that the wing is injured..

when we arrived it was stuck on its back

I was able to get it to attach to a cotton ball and flip it over

and I put it on the sugar water..

not sure what will happen BUT we will keep watching...

Zoey is using tweezers and pom poms

ABC INSECT GAME

You draw a card and move to the letter you 

got..first one to Z wins..

you can make it more challenging by

moving forward and backwards depending on what you draw

Levi and I decided to only move forward for the 

first few games...

As we were finishing attendance LOTS

of friends had their hands up to share....

which led to lots of different conversation

which led us to 

ALLIGATORS AND CROCODiLES!

we quickly looked up some information

so we can know the differences between to 2!

JESUS TIME

Zippy came

Olivia volunteered to be invocation

leader

We started with Zippy who had a problem:

He had been playing in the basement with his cousin

and when they were finish and his cousin went home. Zippy

realizes his favorite monster truck was left in the basement.

He was scared to go in basement alone.

The class had excellent ideas to help Zippy

solve his problem.

Which led to today's bible story

Jesus sends a special helper:

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is a special helper

He brings us comforts and helps us.

In today's bible story the disciples were gathered

together praying

and they heard a gush of wind and tongues of

fire appeared on their heads..

(but they didn't get burned)

And then the disciples were able to speak lots

of different languages. And spread the word of God

to all the people gathered in Jerusalem for

Pentecost.

3, 000 people got baptized that day!!

Today's helpers...

It began sunny and by the time

we came in, it was very cloudy outside

JJ was our librarian and chose

his Birthday Book for us to read today

It is a great rhyming book!

Simon is our library helper and brought 

new books from the library...

this one had great information on how a 

butterfly gets the nectar for food.

Olivia was our entomologist

Olivia wrote a 2 for our 2 butterflies

and

a 3 for our 3 chrysalis 

It was also was Olivia's turn for the

estimation jar

14 items!!
