HAPPY MONDAY!!

Everyone was excited
and looked so cute in their
swimsuits
Ellis started with coloring

Zoey was practicing
making her ABC with
a magna doddle...
it comes with lines and curves too

Levi also using th emagn doodle

Harrison is using a peg board
with colored rubber bands
great for building fine
motor skills

I found these color sheets that also have
stickers... the stickers match the pictures
so you can find where they go

A fun counting puzzle

We cleaned up morning work right at 8:15
so we could get outside
before the rain

LUKE WAS
ATTENDANCE HELPER

1 friend NOT here
14 friends here

Leo was invocation leader
OOPS sorry it is upside down
We read the Tower of Babel

Ellis' turn to care
for Snoopy

Before going outside I told the children
that with the forecast, Mrs Helmkamp, wasn't to get ALL of
the waterplay stuff out and that is ok...
sometimes things DON'T go as planned
and we can still have FUN--in a different way...
AS LONG AS THERE WAS NO LIGHTNING
we could play in the rain

Mrs Helmkamp did get out the bubble machines
and water shooters...

Today's Helpers

I think A LOT of FUN was
had for sure...

First in the bubbles

then checking out the water shooters

It did rain on us

and got VERY windy

taking a break from running around, a few
friends were a little chilly

We left our towels inside SO we could
have something dry to wrap
up in when we went inside

when we came inside we wrapped in our
towels and listen to read
 alouds on the smartboard....

while Mrs Koenen and I called several
friends at a time to change
It went very smoothly.
Thank you for having bags to
put wet clothes in and everything
nicely organized.

OUR TRAIL MIX items
I put cheerios and pretzels in first
to individual cups and then gave everyone
one banana chip
and 2 choc. covered plums and a couple
dried cherries--just
to try

A few were a little unsure of the choc covered plums
(small, like the size of a raisin)
BUT some asked for more.
Many liked the banana chips and asked for more
No one asked for more dried
cheeries--which are really sweet--but some thought they were raisins

Many asked for more pretzels and
some liked the protein cheerios
and wanted more of those too!!
I was proud of the class
for trying new foods!!

Paw Patrol Movie
We watched about 1/2 of it....
But all the children seemed interested
and liked most of the trail mix

Levi was librarian

Harrison was weather helper

Lyla was prayer leader

Olivia was snack manager

Snack
surprisingly many still wanted to eat--
only one friend said she wasn't hungry
anymore

Harrison getting estimation jar
ready for his turn

Selah was teacher
assistant

Harrison estimation jar...

Then we prepped Leo's stuff for
his turn at estimation jar...
we will do it a little later

CENTER TIME

A few friends wanted to "rest"
and finish the movie

Luke was estimation jar

Simon was exercise
leader

push ups!!
Simon is impressive with
his ability to do a push up!!

Annibella was yoga
instructor

Tortoise pose

Leo's items...

Friends estimations...

PRAYER..
we went around the circle and
friends could say
their
THANK YOU JESUS PRAYER
or
a HELP ME JESUS PRYER
or both,....
they really like prayer requests....
it was such a busy morning I did
not get to write them down
BUT I think it is so sweet
they want to make sure they
still say one!

Ellis was line leader

The good bye rhyme
