Harrison started his morning
with magnets

Lyla and Aavya are
dividing up the play doh
for us

Luke chose beads
first

Landon enjoying the magnets

I told the class I ade
new color sheets of some of the tunigs
they are interested in learning about..
SPACE
ZOO
INSECTS

Then a bunch of
friends wanted to come color

These puzzles go together
in just the right way.....

Lyla took this animal

and used its footprint to make a design

in her play doh... and it ended up looking like

bunnies....

very creative
Simon asked if I would take a picture
of the puzzle he worked on

Luke told me he wanted to
make a monster truck

Coloring was a popular area
this morning

The girls were having fun making
"food" for me and then when I would "taste" it
they would tell me it has chilli peppers
๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚and of course thought
it was super funny

Ava and Levi were using the magnets

MORNING MEETING

Abikriti was
attendance helper

2 friends NOT here
14 friends HERE

Landon was
invocation leader
He did a great job
leading us!!
( He knows all the words)

We began Jesus time with
me reviewing a little what we had
been learning all week...

When Zippy came (Monday) he was having a hard time
"listening" but we learned that
God never has a hard time listening to us...
HE is always ready for us...
In today's story the children had to
LISTEN for certain words and do the actions...

If I said pray..
we folded our hands and prayed

if I said sleep
we pretended to sleep

NOT PICTURED>>>
if I said walk we tapped our hands in our laps..

Everyone did a great job
listening and following along
with the story of Jesus and his disciples
walking to the garden
then praying in the garden and
his disciples falling asleep

Jesus LOVES us so much
HE died just for US!!!

Today's devotion

2nd steps...
showing me their frustrated faces....

2nd steps cards...

we had been looking at this card ALL week....
we began today talking about
what frustrates us...
The class shared:
when someone takes the toy I was using
when my (sibling) bites me
when my (sibling) doesn't do what I want
when I have to stop playing
when I don't get to do what I want..

ALL great examples....

THEN we talked about what to do when we feel
frustrated...

some thoughts...
take deep breaths
tell your mom
put your hand on your belly and say I feel...(however
you feel)

The class did a great job discussing
BIG feelings like frustration
