I talked to the children about how much they

are liking animals and I thought we could concentrate specifically on

ARCTIC animals because it is so cold outside...

I found a few arctic animals to add to our sensory table

THEN we checked on our experiment from 

yesterday..

adding water to a balloon and putting it outside to

see what will happen...

It was solid ice..

we passed it around so we

could feel it...

then I cut it out of the balloon....

and we thought of ways we could make the ice melt...

salt and warm water....

checking out the arctic animals

before we add them to the sensory table

LOTS of friends wanted to help melt

the ice...
