run!!!!
and sit with friends
Harrison and Jacob
had a lot of fun together today
After our commons time
we only had a short time
until chapel(in the commons)
so we went with Mrs Cooper's class
and read in the main school building...
We read this book, which is also going
to be part of an art/literacy project
to be on display in the church
for National Lutheran Schools Week
CHAPEL
Mrs Helmkamp
led us....
She talked about
how
Jesus is GOD...
we say it everyday when we say the invocation
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit....
Jesus is also a MAN
He came to this world as a baby
Just like each of US!!!
Mrs Helmkamp asked the teachers
for baby pictures.....
she showed each picture and told us
which teacher it was......
she also told the children
to go home today and ask
to see baby pictures of themselves..
Plus as a baby we learned to roll over,
crawl, sit up, talk, eat, etc....
Jesus had to learn
ALL those things too!
Jesus had to do
all those thing just like us
so He knows what it is
like to be human!
The one thing different
Jesus never had sin
But the GREAT thing is
Jesus was put on earth
to save us from sin!!
He is our SAVIOR!

I decided to do self portrait a little differently
FOLLOWING STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS...
THIS WAS A LITTLE HARD FOR SOME
BECAUSE THEY JUST WANTED TO DRAW

TO STAY TOGETHER AND DRAW EACH
PART AS I SAY IT
mostly to see how they
follow directions and understand
how to draw a certain shapes
example: circle for a head
circle for eyes... how many eyes do you have, etc....
I love how they are turning out..
I will put them on SeeSaw
as well as display them in the hall

to help create our next bulletin board
