Simon

and Harrison playing
TIC TAC TOE

So many moments in the day
I wish I could record their conversations SO
everyone could hear such sweet
conversations...
Harrison and Simon had fun
together today
and took turn and played so sweetly..

They were also discussing if
no one wins it is called a CATS GAME
and Simon said... if no one wins
I call it a TIE!!
But they both listened to each other
 and were happy

Otto chose the magna doodle and
curves first today...

excited to make letters with curves

These two played
Tic Tac Toe for
awhile!

These 2 both chose to relax when
they first came in....

Morning Meeting

Harrison got to take care of Little puppy

Simon chose
invocation leader....

He is doing such a
great job leading us!!

Ms Steinbacher
led our Jesus time today!!!

She talked to us about
when Jesus was a little boy
(about 12 years old)
and his family traveled to the temple
to hear about GOD
Even though Jesus was only 12
he could preach to the people there and
tell others about God
because Jesus is God!

Ellie was our
attendance helper

EVERYONE came to school
17 friends today!!

Since we didn't go outside and Ms Steinbacher
came during our commons time
we did small group work.....

one group worked independently (without a teacher)
to build marble races....

another group worked with
Mrs Koenen on a
scissor assessment

and I did a step by step
instructions...

I wanted to see how the children could follow
step by steps directions to
draw a
self portrait
with only a black flair pen...

I will add them to
Seesaw soon
Plus we will hang them up

We continued rotating groups
until everyone had done everything....

Then just a few minutes of FREE play

while I got another activity set up

LOTS of C WORDS!!!

2nd steps!!

So proud of this class...

I told them we need to learn how
to read our friends faces...

By looking at someones face we can tell if he/she
is happy, sad, scared, worried, etc..

We took time to look at this picture and discuss
how both of these girls are feeling and why..

So many great ideas and just another time
each of you would be so proud of your child and the ideas
he/she had... so many great thought!!

We ended our conversation
and second steps time with understanding that not everyone feels the same way
about the same activity ... one girl is happy to go fast
the other isn't enjoying the fast bike ride!

More brainstorming...

of what Project we want to do next

I told the children I would put a few items out from this list to see
what we seem the most interested in....

many friends keep talking about animals..

I do not have many plastic animals
in my room... if anyone has any we could borrow....
that would be great.🐅🐆🐇🐈🐉🐊

CENTER TIME

A few friends had to paint their stars
during small group time
so during center time
we had them cut them out...

I HAD A FEW JAN NAME
SAMPLES LEFT...

I have this random book of
stickers with coordinating color
pages.. I think it was my own kids when they
were young BUT it is ALL different
groups of animals (desert, artic, zoo, etc..)

Abidaan, Otto and Aavya enjoyed choosing
a page and coloring it and adding the stickers...

everyone was so busy this morning...

JJ, Dominic, Xander and I think Harrison was also here some...
these boys were building ramps and launching cars
very FUN and EXCITING...
but then a few friends were getting hit by
flying cars...
I asked the friends if they could create a way they could still
use the ramps..but not fly off the shelf and hit others.....

They built this barrier all on their own....
