School is so FUN
Our days have been flying by.....
This is how we
sign in
After putting out things away, children sign in:
- great way to reinforce name recognition
-friends start to recognize each others names
-we also use it to acknowledge who came to school
and if friends are absent
Morning Work
children find an activity
at a table until everyone arrives
Ben and Luke doing a puzzle together
Cecilia excited to try out the writing
table
Ella chose to color first
Play Doh is always a BIG hit!
The BIRTHDAY GIRL,
CHARLOTTE!
Maisie wanted to color too!
Our 1st Birthday Guest
Charlotte's dad!!!
This was a FUN and
interactive story time
Then we sang
Happy Birthday
Oliver was our
attendance helper!!
16 friends at school today!!
Ellie volunteered
to be our
YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Downward Dog
Next we practiced our invocation
We will have an invocation Leader each day
Today we were just learning what to say
and do with our hands
Leader will say
We begin with the name of God the Father(put one finger up)
class will respond: Who created us
L: And God the Son:(Make a cross with fingers)
C: Who died for us
L: And God the Holy Spirit(hug self)
C: Who comforts us
We sang(Row,Row your boat tune)
Read, Read the Bible
God wants us to know
That it is a special book
and He loves us so!
Then Mrs Koenen sang
He has the Whole World in our hands
using the children's names...
they stood when she said their name
Lining up.....
A few jobs have a special spot to stand on
Foster got to stand on the only RED Bobcat paw
That is for the Light Helper!
The Light Helper stands on the special Bobcat Paw because they
get to turn out the lights as everyone leaves the room
Ella was Line Leader
(we are sending Prayers that this is the last day
for the immobilizer on Ella's leg as she
goes to the dr today)
walking to the playground...
I would say a pretty good line for day 2
Our Mud Kitchen
These tires are A LOT of fun to climb
There are a lot of areas of our
playground that give young
children the opportunity to take
"safe" risks... Like learning to climb these tires
some are higher than others--and sometimes the child feels
really brave and stands up on the tires-----
or jumps off!!!1
Great opportunities to develop
self confidence and build gross
motor strength
Climbing up the mountain also
builds great gross motor strength
Lots of imaginative play with the
mud kitchen
Samuel was testing out how
it felt to lay across the tires....
